A Jamaican gent, Ernest Hall (Kingston, Jamaica) and Southern Lady, Vicki Newsum (Memphis, TN) met in Brooklyn, NY …kids...marriage ...started cooking up a bunch of flavors and found delicious compliments blending Jamaican & Southern style cooking. Both cultures enjoy vibrant flavors, good right out of the pot ...nothing more to do but eat and enjoy ...combined with a very personal touch of hospitality using the recipe of love, food, music, and soul made for the grand dream of Evelyn & Olive, opened January 2012!  Just stop by soon, as it is our pleasure to serve and delight you with "Jamaican spice and southern sass".
